Thank you all for your support and information. It’s hard to know what direction to take as it seems you need to find a specialist for everything. Have a wonderful weekend! Wishing everyone the best!

Wow Gregg I thought I was taking a lot of drugs but nothing that heavy but so far I haven’t had any broken bones. I am just worried about being addicted because I have depression and a slightly addictive personality so I don’t know I will have to think about trying in a small doses. Thanks everyone for all the hugs 🫂 very much appreciated.

Yes I was thinking of having a pain patch but Fentanyl was all that was available so I definitely said no thanks. As for the constipation I take 2 Senakote 3times a day,2 stool softeners 3 times a day,2 prunes 3 times a day and drink lots of water. Sometimes you have to work to get it to move but it works for me.

I'm on fentanyl 125 mgs every 72 hours along with oxycodone for hip pain it works well, but what ive noticed is my body has built up a tolerance to it so around the 3rd day I can feel my pain more than I use too. Getting off of this may be difficult I'm thinking.

I used Fentanyl patches for a couple of months for back pain. I did not find that there was any relief since the patch had to be placed in a different area every three days. So, I went back to the Hydrocodone tablets which work better since I can take them as I need them. The biggest side effect from the Hydrocodone is the constipation but I have found that there are over the counter things that will correct this issue.
