When I feel nauseated I eat oyster crackers and drink ginger ale. I really helps me. It's hard to find oyster crackers with any salt on them. Sometimes I just eat regular saltines but ginger ale for sure. I found something at CVS called Heather's Tummy Tamers. It is over the counter but really helps with stomach issues especially the cramping. It comes in a white bottle with a lavender label. You can get them on Amazon or from her website. Since I started taking these I have gained back 5 pounds.

I lost my appetite dreaded meal times as I felt sick and kept trying to belch,I was on tablets to help stop infections ect it got to such a point of weight loss told I wouldn't have long. But I probably went the wrong way about it without doctors advice I had finished treatment stopped the pills and slowly regained my appetite I suppose I wouldn't recommend that approach as it could backfire and doctors get the hump

Feeling nauseous every time you eat and having a hard time eating due to a lack of appetite can be challenging, especially if you have multiple myeloma. Here are some potential reasons and tips to manage this:

Potential Causes:
- Treatment Side Effects: Chemotherapy and other treatments for multiple myeloma can cause nausea and reduce appetite.
- Medication: Some targeted therapy drugs like Velcade (bortezomib), Kyprolis (carfilzomib), and others can cause nausea.
- Physical Changes: Myeloma cells can cause changes in the body that may lead to nausea.

Management Tips:
- Diet Changes:
- Drink lots of fluids throughout the day to stay hydrated.
- Eat many small meals or snacks instead of large meals.
- Opt for plain, non-spicy, non-acidic, low-fat, and low-fiber foods.
- Try cool or room-temperature foods instead of warm foods.
- Soft or liquid foods might be easier to tolerate.

- Examples:
- Plain bread and Coke.
- Soda crackers and small sips of clear liquids.

When to Seek Help:
- If you vomit multiple times within 24 hours.
- If you can't eat or drink anything.

For personalized advice, always consult your doctor or a healthcare professional.
