Yes, I have upped my Calcium. I've started reading the book, "Beat Back Cancer Naturally" by Dominic Brandy, MD, who has multiple myeloma. He advocates for a plant-based diet that is augmented by herbal supplements. And of course, it's important for my oncologist to know what I want to include in the regimen he has developed for my treatment of mm. 😉

I like them too, but if they won’t let me absorb calcium, I can’t eat them. You probably can eat them for dinner, just have your calcium supplements in the morning.

I didn't realize that spinach and sweet potatoes could cause leg cramps. That's a shame because I like both. 😞

Wanda,
I am learning. I was having horrible cramping in my legs. I started taking calcium, but it wasn’t enough. I learned that I needed to take at least 1200 mg with magnesium, D3 & K2. I also stopped eating spinach and sweet potatoes because they didn’t allow me to absorb the calcium. Low to no salt, no carbonation, no caffeine. If i cheated and had a soda, I would be in terrible pain with cramps.
