Hi Lady T. I think its great for you to learn as much as possible about your situation with this demon we're battling. I believe its also possible to get information overload when looking up information and worrying about each and every bit of data you learn of on the journey. Stress is not our friend on this road. When I heard of the actor that passed from MM it became a cause for concern although we didn't hear what type he had or how long he had it or what treatment decisions he made. It is important to talk to your healthcare team and try to stay in the best mental and physical shape possible so you make informed decisions about your treatment. This forum has numerous positive examples of folks who can and have shared lots of information that will be beneficial for us. Keep your head to the sky and keep reaching for remission. Peace

When lambda light chain is positive in almost all plasma cells, it suggests that these cells are producing an excess of lambda light chains. This can be indicative of light chain multiple myeloma, a type of cancer where plasma cells produce abnormal antibodies, specifically an overabundance of one type of light chain (lambda in this case).

Key Points:
- Excess Lambda Light Chains: Indicates a potential diagnosis of light chain multiple myeloma.
- Diagnostic Criteria:
- A serum free light chain ratio of 100 or more can specifically diagnose light chain multiple myeloma.
- High levels of kappa or lambda chains detected in blood tests.
- Complications: This condition can lead to various complications, including kidney damage, due to the accumulation of these light chains in organs.
