I have IGG kappa myeloma. In April dr said I was in deep remission now I feel like I’m in trouble

Could be that. I would definitely follow up with the doctor. I have light chain myeloma and I would have some concern. If you get treatments, see if goes down. But I would get another blood test

I would say not to worry. Whenever my numbers are out of whack I wait for the doctor to call and tell me to report to the Emergency Ward. If he doesn’t then I always ask him when I see him if there are any results that concern him. When he responds no I assume the out of whack numbers are normal.

I have IgG Kappa Light Chain. And every month there is some number that is out of range. So being in remission does not mean everything goes back to normal!

Not sure of the m spike yet didn’t get the results back. I do have a horrible cough and I’m on an antibiotic for strep

Just heard from my doctor. He said that he waits for a trend. Now I wait until June 17 for another round of bloodwork
