I've Has MM For 8 Years. When I Wake In The Morning Feel Achy, Until I Get Up And Move Around. Anyone Else Have This Experience?
Absolutely true for me! And when the fatigue hits, it is especially difficult. MM impacts so much.
Yes, everyday! And if I’m feeling fatigued and I lay around too much then the next day is even worse.
Amen! I just finally retired (three years post SCT) but every day was a challenge to get up and get going. I consider myself pretty tough but I’d get teary eyed at the thought of having to get up and go to work. My body doesn’t deserve this sentiment, but sometimes I hate it (but I always forgive myself). I recently went on a private retreat at a Benedictine monastery and found it a wonderful period of silence, prayer, and reflection. I’d recommend it to anyone (and you don’t have to be Catholic). It’s good to not be consumed by illness for a change and to find a healthy part of me that MM cannot touch- my spirit!
Yes everyday! It’s not as bad in the summer
If you have had it for 8 years and you are a bit achy, good for you. I not only ache but hurt where my cancer is. Because it affects your bones and spine so much, it pretty much has done a number in me in the pain department but when I was in remission the pain was much less.
