Look into taking Frankincense to ease the side effects. do-Terra sells it. Also, Nutritional yeast (Bob's RedMill) should help prevent neuropathy. May God bless you and guide you on this journey.

You will do great. Just make sure you get a nap in, the steroids can be fun but balancing it will be better for you. It’s a big learning game.

Here are some suggestions to help you prepare for chemotherapy for myeloma:

- Health Preparation: Improve your overall health by getting plenty of rest, avoiding stress, and eating a healthy diet focused on whole grains, fresh vegetables, and fruit.
- Dental Check-Up: Visit your dentist for a check-up and cleaning before starting treatment.
- Vaccinations: Ask your doctor whether you need flu or pneumonia vaccinations or other immunizations to avoid infections during chemotherapy.
- Transportation: Arrange transportation in advance for your treatment visits, as you may feel fatigued and need rest after sessions.
- Hydration: Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration and constipation. Avoid alcohol and caffeine as they can worsen dehydration.
- Entertainment: Bring books, an electronic tablet, knitting, puzzles, or a board game to help pass the time during treatment sessions.
- Support: Take a friend, family member, or caregiver to appointments to help take notes, listen, and ask questions.

These steps can help you cope with side effects and manage your treatment more effectively.

Your oncology team will look for any reaction that you may have. Rashes, swelling, etc. Report any negative reactions to them.
