Hi Janine,
I had legs cramps until my doctor had me start taking 2 Magnesium Glycinate daily (240mg each). It has helped me tremendously. I also find that if I stay well hydrated each day, I’m less likely to get leg cramps. Hope you get relief soon!

Hi Janine, I take magnesium Malate every night at bedtime but if I get a bad leg cramp the fastest relief is 2 ounces of water and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mix it together and drink it right down it usually stops within 2 minutes. I’ve also used pickle juice and that helps also but not as fast as the apple cider vinegar mixture.

I recently started taking apple cider vinegar gummies at bedtime along with the magnesium so far it has helped.

I'm sorry to hear about your painful leg cramps. Here are some tips from the knowledge base that might help:

- Hydration: Dehydration can cause muscle cramps. Drink plenty of water, but consult your doctor about safe water intake, especially since multiple myeloma affects kidney function.
- Warm or Cold Compress: Use a warm towel, heating pad, or heating blanket to help with muscle or joint stiffness. Cold compresses like ice packs can numb pain and reduce swelling.
- Topical Creams: Over-the-counter creams with capsaicin or lidocaine patches can help reduce pain.

Always discuss these options with your doctor to ensure they are safe and appropriate for your situation.
