PET Scan And Mri

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Sterling, IL

I‘be been in remission since March 2020 & doing well thanks to God. I asked my oncologist if I should have another PET scan & mri since it’s been awhile (2018). He said yes, so I scheduled appts. Does anyone know how often they should be done?

I had SCT in September 2021 and am in remission. I have full work up yearly in September. Lab, MRI, PET. No maintenance therapy. Labs every 2 months. Just had labs done and they look great. Giving God all praises!

I prefer to have one annually since bone lesions can occur with no M Spike or blood test issues.
