Oh my - sorry to hear this. I've had an itchy scalp before, but nothing that kept me up all night. You might consider reporting this to your care team.
Aveeno makes some great products. They have a soothing shampoo for itchy scalps, which I have used with success. Take care and hope you feel better soon!!

My dermatologist has me on Zyrtec (was twice a day for two weeks then once a day for two weeks and now once a week) and cortizone10 on the same schedule - that was for my case. I’d recommend seeing a dermatologist - it was beyond my GP to advise. Everything’s case will be different - they need your medical history to decide.

I got the itchy scalp myself. I switched to dandruff shampoo. It's a start and it did help me surprisingly quite a bit.
Whatever works, try the simple things first then go from there.🌻
