Left side of my face is so painful. Teeth are killing me. Have gone to the dentist and the X-rays show no decay. Hard to find a dental oncology specialist.

Anyone Else Have Osteonecrosis Of The Jaw(ONJ)? I Have Had It For About 5 Years Now As A Result Of Zometa Infusions.
I am a 25 year MM survivor currently taking Selinexor, Dex and Kyprolis. I have lost 2 molars on the right side and one on the left with another getting very loose. I have seen 2 oral surgeons with no one wanting to do much except let the teeth fall out. It is getting difficult to eat. If I get the remaining molars pulled, I would like to know if I can get a denture. I know the jawbone will not support implants. If anyone has any experience with this please let me know. Jaypea, you need an oncology oral surgeon who deals with this issue daily. You have osteonecrosis which, at this point may need surgery. My husband had that and a wonderful oncology oral surgeon… read more

Discontinuing Revlimid And Starting POMALYST While On Maintenance Therapy
Due to a recurring itchy body rash developing when using Revlimid, I’ll be switching over pomalidomide with velcade and dex. POMALYST is 10 times more potent than that of lenalidomide. But what I’m reading, people seem to have less side effects although it’s in the same drug class. For those who are on POMALYST, what has been your experience?

I Am Told I Need To Have A Tooth Extraction And Either An Implant Or A Bridge. Any Experience With This?
I was diagnosed with multiple Myeloma in April of 2021 after several spinal fractures were found. I had a stem cell transplant in Nov 2021. I was on Darzalex and Revlimid, but recently went off the Darzalex. I also no longer take dexamethasone or Acyclovir. I am in very good partial remission. I get a Zometa infusion every 3 months .
