How Does Myeloma Affect The Skull Since It Is Made So Bone?
I've had several small sores that seem to be permanent.
Multiple myeloma can affect the skull by creating small, round lesions in the bone, which are visible on X-rays. These lesions weaken the bone and may cause pain or sores. While myeloma commonly spreads to the skull, it rarely affects the brain directly. If you notice persistent sores or worsening symptoms, consult your Show Full Answer
I had brain scan last summer for severe headaches. It showed multiple lytic lesions. Did not say whether they were new or appeared treated. I had been in remission for 3 years after SCT. Am in treatment for relapse at this time
My cousin can’t remember how to drive to his favorite restaurant. Treatment can affect the memory and MM can cause holes in your skull. I hope this isn’t happening to you.💕
