I got quotes today at the start at $40/hr for Companion Care. This is the minimum price for over 8 hours a day. 4 hours a day is $60/hr. I don’t think Medicare pays for this?

Thanking God that in Canada, the medical costs for my brother are covered - vaccinations, radiation, chemo, only has to pay $4 for his meds...we have OHIP and his has developmental disability as well..

I did move to a house with my bedroom, kitchen, laundry, garage on one floor. I am hoping I can get hospice services at home. I am willing to go to inpatient hospice if my symptoms can not be managed at home. In the meantime, I'm trying to stay as healthy as possible.

In the state of Washington, one of the provider network systems is Consumer Direct Care of Washington aka CDWA.
I became a caregiver for my son with developmental disabilities and the process was simple.
