Btw, how do I know the risk (if I am high or low risk) of developing myeloma from MGUS or from smoldering myeloma?.
Question 2: I have myeloma cells but with MGUS and at the same time myelofibrosis. How do I know what is the main cancer, if it is myeloma or myelofibrosis?.
Thanks in advance

I have smoldering M and Dr watched it for 3 years. I got the bone maro biopsy and finally got the treatment started BEFORE full blown MM because it's the only way to go according to my other 2 opinions. I've had 8 treatments which is 2 cycles and I feel so much better and my back has gone from horrible pain to tolerable because of the treatments. I can actually function well.
Talk to your Dr about options and ask every question you can write so you don't forget.
Good luck!

If a second opinion makes you feel better, you should get one.
