This was a difficult question in many ways, as each person faces different circumstances and symptoms.
I think that generally it pays to have an optimistic outlook on things and don’t let day to day problems get you down. There’s no point in wallowing in what might have been, just accept things as they are and make the best of them. There is always someone worse off than you are, just be grateful for the things that you have and make every day count.
Try and keep active and do the things that you enjoy doing and make you happy. I have a dog that gives me great joy, even though I can’t walk her as much as I used to, she has adapted to changing circumstances as much as I have.
That myeloma is treatable it's not a death sentence, when I was first diagnosed in 2017, I thought my world was over and trust me I have had my ups and downs with Mutiple Myeloma medically and physically but every day I get better and stronger.

My most important advice to anyone who has received the news that they have MM is to immediately contact the best MM specialist you can find.You want an oncologist that is well informed on the latest MM treatments. The landscape of treatments for our disease is changing every day. In my seven years of dealing with Multiple Myeloma I have been fortunate enough to have been the recipient of some of those new treatments and have been blessed because of them.
