No Sct, no lesions or other manifestations of myeloma. Feel great. Hike, bike, surf, ski, etc..Had induction quad therapy 18 months ago. VGPR. 75 yrs old, 5’7”, 150 lbs. Bone marrow biopsy a year ago showed 10,000 ppm M protein. Are numbers alone sufficient to change treatment or look at consider how I feel too (overall health)?

Great to hear Kenneth. I am 68 and chose not to do SCT either. 8 months later I still have no symptoms, no side effects from medication. I am exercising at least 3 times a week and eat fairly healthy with a few beers or wine once a week. Enjoy quality of life while you have it, this disease usually ends up winning in the end no matter how many sacrifices you make.

It's great to hear that you're feeling well and staying active! When considering whether to change your myeloma treatment, both your numbers and overall health are important factors. Here are some points to consider based on my knowledge base:

- Monitoring Response: Your oncologist will monitor your response to treatment through blood tests measuring M-protein levels, bone marrow biopsies, and imaging tests.
- Side Effects and Quality of Life: It's crucial to consider how you feel overall, including any side effects from treatment.
- Consult Your Oncologist: Discuss your current M-protein levels and lambda ratio with your oncologist. They can provide personalized advice based on your complete medical history and current health status.

Always consult your healthcare provider before making any changes to your treatment plan.
