You need new doctors. Go find a specialist

I think most of us have gotten second opinions, especially if the doctor doesn’t know what to do. A Oncologist/Hematologist who Specializes in MM is who you need to go to. You current doctor can work with them. theMMRF.org has a list of these Specialists and they have a Patient Navigator who you can talk to.

I believe in second opinions. You don’t have to leave your current doctors, as they should understand. Even if you get good reports, it’s always a positive move to get a second opinion from a specialist familiar with treating MM.

I have copd which leaves me with shortness of breath. Recently it has been much poorer. To my knowledge sinuses can be affected by a low IGA reading. Also respiratory problems & shortness of breath can be associated with mm. IGA is worth looking at. Resource available on this site.

Would it be possible to ask your doctors to look into your respiratory area... This usually represents a bacterial infection in the lining of the respiratory system. It is immune related... But, it's usually an infection in the respiratory. Sometimes, with illness and treatments our Gut Microbiome, becomes overrun with bad bacteria that causes different respiratory issues. Antibodies, should kick-in to help fight this but sometimes our T-Cells become exhausted... and inflammation is the result. Is it possible to ask your doctor about (NAC). I am currently taking NAC, because my IgA was low. Taking 500mg of NAC 2x to 3x daily in divided doses, (For 4 weeks) should help. If you are given an antibiotic, make sure to take a prebiotic too (A mixture of a pre/probiotic) would be ideal. Do not take an antibiotic without these... You want to increase the flora in your Gut, and in your respiratory area. There are 150 lymph nodes in the gut, so you want to keep this area strong during treatment.
God bless, and I truly hope you find answers!😊
