Report them right away to their supervisor. This is unacceptable. I'm sorry this happened to you 😔

I would talk to the nurse first and if it continues then I would inform the nurse that they will leave me no choice but to report them to their supervisor.

2. Speak to a Supervisor: If the behavior continues, ask to speak with the nurse's supervisor or the patient advocate at the treatment center.
3. Document Incidents: Keep a record of any incidents, including dates, times, and descriptions of what happened.
4. Seek Support: Reach out to social workers or patient advocates who can provide guidance and support.
5. Consider Changing Providers: If the situation doesn't improve, you may want to consider finding a different treatment center where you feel more comfortable and respected.

It's important to address these issues so you can focus on your treatment and well-being.

I try to think they are having a bad day, and treat them with kindness. It’s hard to treat others with disrespect when they are being super kind to you.

As a nurse, this is unacceptable. There should be a nurse manager and/or patient advocate you can talk to.
