Hi, Has Anyone Developed Osteonecrosis Of The Jaw From Xgeva Injections As I Have?

In addition I also now have a chronic infection there as which they are finding difficult to treat because doing so as they normally would could definitely accelerate the Osteonecrosis. Four specialties have been involved - Dentist, Endodontist, Periodontist and Oral Surgeon. To date I've had four rounds of antibiotics which are only able suppress the infection for a short time but are unable to cure it. So sorry this is happening to you. Primetime Gail had osteonecrosis. Some others have too.

Yes, osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) has been reported in patients taking Xgeva (denosumab). The risk of developing ONJ increases with the dose and duration of treatment.
