I was informed today that the bone scan was negative and the eGFR, for my kidneys, was within range or 88, which I knew yesterday. Thus, I was told we are moving into the monitoring phase. The next MONOTORING for blood work is on September 6 and ONC appointment is September 10th, to review bone scan, labs and complete the diagnosis, in-terms of proving me with a complete work up, which I hope to receive from the ONC, so I can then ask for a second opinion and assemble a team of experts to… read more
Dan, it looks like a pretty good report so long as the SMM can be held at bay! I am impressed that the eGFR is 88 (pretty good kidney health) the artificial sweeteners must have been the problem! My eGFR is 21 or so, infinitely worse than yours. Please protect your kidneys throughout treatment - always ask if each drug or supplement or whatever can impact your kidneys! Best wishes! Martin
