No issue about the Create ratio of 21, I'm often bouncing around 20 and 21. What are your eGFR values. A MSpike of 0.51 is very low but must be attended to. Possibly just Diet & Supplements if your MGUS or maybe even SMM. For either of these sign-up with the Sloan Kettering Clinical Trial - I've Posted info about it - it's probably in my Updates.

Things will be fine. I started at 5.2 MSpike - I'm 3 years later and I remain Cancer Free.

What I've leant this last year is beyond the Curcumin I was taking in 2021, changing to a strict Plant Based Diet, Key Supplements and plenty of Exercise are extremely important. I'm 70 and haven't felt this well is a very long time. My Labs confirm, things are excellent.

Dan,
You are probably feeling a little overwhelmed with all the information about MM and your type. I’m going to give you something else that I dealt with at the start. I updated my Living Will. Why have one? Because it tells who handles the finances and who can make decisions for your health care if you are not able to. Your mother should have this too. If you don’t have one, not only will most of you money go to lawyers and the State but you won’t have any representation. Your mother should have one, in case she outlives you. I probably went a little overboard, but I also bought a grave site. I was surprised at how expensive they were in our area. Other areas didn’t seem to have the uptick in prices as we did. Covid took a lot funeral property. There wasn’t much to choose from when I looked. I wanted to know where I would be. Silly maybe, but it was important to me. Now that I took care of all that, I’m planning on living for a long time!

Early diagnosis, consultation with highly qualified oncologist or a MM Specialist , and early treatments lead to a more successful outcome. There are many types of Multiple Myeloma and individual circumstances, symptoms and experiences. Lab results are great indicators which are used by oncologists and Multiple Myeloma Specialists to develop a treatment plan for your personal case. You can locate a professional healthcare team through HealthTree or the Multiple Myeloms Resarch Foundation. Multiple Myeloma is insidious so do not give this cancer a chance. Best wishes for a successful strategy and path forward. 🙏

Hi Dan - My Bence Jones resolved itself with my treatment of my MM. Nothing extra was done specifically for it. Your 0.5 MSike is quite low. The Bence Jones is just that the monoclonal proteins are existing in your urine. When I was diagnosed, even with my very high MM activity, even though I had protein in my urine (notes of Bence Jones in my first Labs), it didn’t cause me any damage..

Please understand that just me - everyone is different so I can’t assure you the same but your levels sound very low so it’s quite likely that it will revolve itself with your MM treatment. The eGFR is part of your CMP Labs.

I’d say to drop the chicken and beef and limit fish to twice a month and eggs to either none or twice a month. Look into Dr Brandy’s EBook - Beat Back Cancer Naturally. No guarantees but there’s proven reasons why to do this and that it can help..

As for everything else, far too many things to comment on.

For your information, a 24hr urine test will tell you if you have BJ in the urine. So far your kidney function seems fine, but a full Metabolic Panel should be done.
You have a slight elevation of M protein in your blood, so a full workup with a biopsy would give you all the information you need, and then you could make your own informed decision as to treatments. You may have the beginnings of MM.
The best to you.....Ava
