Chris,
I have osteoporosis, so I take 1200 mg calcium with magnesium and D3 & K2. It helps keep my bones strong,

Hi CherylS! It can be good to get access to your own chart, because it can be helpful to know a little more than "your tests are within limits!" Are the results trending toward the high or low side of "within limits?" πŸ§πŸ‘β€οΈ Also, having access to your own chart allows you to see the progression or regression of the lab tests: the results gives you a visual how each test compares with previous tests. "Am I getting better, worse, remaining the same?" Good information for you to know! πŸ˜²πŸ€— you can set up your own account online to receive results of your labs ss they are received, appt. reminders, messaging system to communicate with your medical team/staff - a wealth of information.

I also have MGUS and osteopenia, but my doctor never says anything but "results are within normal limits"!

I do take calcium supplements, so I'm hoping this will help!

For MGUS (Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance) patients, a diagnosis of osteopenia means that they have lower bone density, which can be a concern. According to the knowledge base, those diagnosed with both MGUS and osteoporosis (a more advanced form of bone density loss than osteopenia) may take bisphosphonate medications, such as Aredia (pamidronate) or Zometa (zoledronic acid), to help maintain bone mineral density. Regular monitoring and follow-ups with your healthcare provider are essential to manage both conditions effectively.
