For mine, they gave me local anesthesia and "twilight sleep". I only felt pressure.

You can be put to sleep, I had a lot of anxiety so they did it that way for me.

Bone marrow is the definitive test. Blood test can show MM. My doctor has a test on my blood called a "deep dive test"

My doctor does a test called DEEP DIVE . I have had five bone marrow aspersions under sleep and have never had any soreness or pain. Its a 5 min test. But you must be put to sleep.

As far as any tests go besides the bone marrow test I don’t know of any other. When I had my bone marrow test, fortunately they put you out for awhile while they take bone marrow for testing. I had to wait for a month before I got the results back, that was the hurtful
