Hi @A MyMyelomaTeam Member...I know your story well and beyond impressed (also hope you continue to do stellar and others on this site can have similar results). I'm your partner in crime plus 2.5 years...diagnosed earlier this year with 90% bad plasma, 5900 IGA, t4:14 (but I also have the gain of 1q), m spike 6.5, total protein 11.5, etc. Our initial labs are eerily similar (which is why I remember you reading your story). My body was able to easily tackle three cycles of induction on a clinical trial at Mayo (Darzalex, Velcade, Dexamethasone, but had Iberdomide, the trial drug, instead of Revlimid). Good news, I received a CR...bad news is that by cycle four it absolutely took a toll on my body (I also have an autoimmune condition where my body attacks my adrenal glands...uugghh). I dropped out of the trial but now trying to determine next steps while awaiting my clonoSEQ results and bi-weekly blood tests. I'm almost plant-based but having a hard time giving up protein. Either way, admire you for sticking to your guns...every oncologist I have spoken with wants me to continue a four-drug regimen regardless of CR and pending clonoSEQ results. Good thing is that I need to feel a bit better before I begin the taking any drug anyway but thinking I may do Darzalex every other week for three months while awaiting my appointment with Berenson. If I can keep my numbers in good shape, I'll take another treatment sabbatical from the Darzalex. Thoughts?
