Curcumin, a component of turmeric, has shown some promise in studies for slowing the progression of precursor conditions like MGUS (Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance). A small trial in 2010 found that curcumin could decrease markers of MGUS severity. Another study launched in 2021 is exploring whether curcumin, supplemented with piperine (found in black pepper), can prevent or delay the progression of MGUS or SMM (Smoldering Multiple Myeloma). However, there is not yet enough evidence to recommend curcumin supplements for people with MGUS. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.

After taking curcumin one tablespoon of manna liposomal curcumin and one pill of curcumin from dr Richard and Cindy beckers Bioinnovations and one capsule of qunol turmeric ginger 2400 mg then ate green lima beans and mustard greens my husband cooked I noticed my back pain is almost gone started doing all my housework I had put off. It was a nice feeling.

I'm on anticoagulants and I take 3 curcumin/turmeric/berberine blend supplements every day, along with many other supplements! I know the Omegas I take also can have an effect on the DOAC's. Perhaps I need to discuss this and other supplements with my doctor... again...he never brings it up, they just go over my list of prescriptions and say "Okay!"
