Gentlemen Any Issues With PSA Level After Induction Therapy
I have a slight increase in PSA levels and will be doing some testing hopefully it’s not cancer. But doctor wants to be proactive. 🤞
I had no change in PSA after induction. However, pay attention to which labs run the PSA! Qwest uses a different analysis which may show a 20% higher PSA. My PSA increased by 1.0 when my family practice clinic submitted my blood sample to them. There is a small footnote on their test results sheet advising of this. Also, the reference ranges for PSA they use are over 10 years old, and are out of date. I am not knocking them, just advising you to make sure any change in analytical results are due to your blood and not to a change in analytical technique. Best wishes!
I will never complain about a mammogram again. 😥🥴
I hope ur ok and test come back negative
Thanks Kathryn.. we are going to keep positive thoughts. Of course I’m hoping it’s nothing to worry about. I’m sure not liking getting older. Seems like all of a sudden it’s just one thing after another. We all could use a little break. We’ll make it as we still have a long way to go 👍👍
Hoping for the Best. 🙏
