My brother had them bad on his back. He does not have MM . I read somewhere that Licorice extract helps with it. He wouldn’t use it and suffered terribly. I got a skin condition and used 2 drops of licorice extract with a dab of A & D ointment and it went away.

I had shingles in 2015. They are awful. I could not get relief from the pain. Hence, I have had 2 Shingrix shots and I never fail to take my Valtrex 😥

If you HAVE NOT had shingles get the vaccine for it please. It’s not an easy thing to cope with. Be surreal to get medical support

Have you tried neurontin or one of the antidepressants like Cymbalta or Lyrica?

Thanks 🙏 so much for responding to my question and sharing your own shingles outbreak experience 🙋‍♀️. This small gesture makes me feel under- stood and connected and empathized with. I’m now experiencing post-herpetic neuropathy (PHN). It is extremely painful 😖. The only relief 😮‍💨 I’ve achieved thus far is with Percocet. Any other suggestions?
