I am so fatigued for the 3 weeks I am on pomalyst. I am full of energy on my week off. Please share your experience with this medication

Hi Bonnielynn, I have the same issues on Pomalyst. Very tired. I have to force myself to do anything. I'm on Pomalyst 2mg 21 days on and 7 days off. I look forward to my week off. I have to exercise early in the morning or it doesn't get done. I am also on Darzalex faspro subcutaneous once a month. So the fatigue is partly from that as well. How many milligrams of Pomalyst do you take? It is working to keep my myeloma under control.

Greg, just make sure you have a doctor that only treats myeloma patients all day long. They will know the best regimen for you. 🥰💕

Greg. I have some high risk genetic markers and my doc put me on this regimen because I relapsed and it is my second line of treatment. We are going to reduce my pomalyst to 1 mg in about a month due to some cramping I. My feet and toes - Bonnie

Hi Bonnielynn,
I am on a similar regimen - 3 mg of Pomalyst for 21 days in a row, then one week off. (I call it my vacation week!) I'm usually ok for the first 2 weeks, and then the 3rd week can be difficult. Exercise helps and drinking lots of water. Eventually, I may be able to go down to 2 mg, but I'm holding off as long as possible. My numbers are good, and I'm nervous to change anything.
Hoping the doctors can find something to help you. take care and God bless!
Christine
