Is There Treatment For Skeletal Lesions
Hello! Zometa infusions make me feel a little bit like I have the flu - aches and pains, and tiredness. This usually subsides within 1-3 days. Hot tea seems to help and general rest. You could also ask your doctor if it is ok to take Tylenol prior to the infusion. This also seems to help. Take care and God bless!
I was on zometa
for 2 years every three months.
Made a huge difference in my bones I could feel that they were a lot stronger
I've been on mthly Zolodronic infusions since Oct 2022 [time of diagnosis of MM]- no side effects but a marked improvement bone density-wise; oncologist last May said he didn't need to see me until May 2026.
prior to my bones doctored by said oncologist with annual infusions of Aclasta [same chemical]. now he knows all about Zoledronic acid's assistance he can relax and just look at the biennial results from haematologist.
maybe it has worked so well, not only because I have no side effects, but compared to the lesion in region of L5 they are relatively tiny. that may make it 'easier' for the infusion to destroy. or that could just be an old women's silly supposition.
time in remission getting closer to a year.
I had Zometa a few years ago and went to work immediately after. No proplems.
Did Zomata infusions make you sick?
