MGUS Vs. MG With LgG Kappa?
What's the difference in Monoclonal gammopathy of uncertain significance
and Monoclonal gammopathy with IgG kappa?
Tricia, is right. MGUS is a general term. You need a bone marrow biopsy to tell which type you are. The pathologist can tell from a bone marrow biopsy which type if monoclonal protein your MGUS secretes. Yours must be IgG Kappa. Which is the most common type. π

The IGG kappa is the type of MGUS or MM precursor that you have. I have IGG kappa MM. they can figure out which type you have very early on.
I have no idea to be honest. I recomend talking to your cancer doctor and checking the American cancer society.
