What Is The Typical Life Span Of Someone With Multiple Myeloma Cancer....
I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer 2 years ago at the age of 38. Does anyone know the life span of someone my age with Multiple Myeloma?
My specialist told me the national average is 10 years but MANY people have had it for 20-30 yrs and meds are improving all the time so just take care of yourself and just keep going. Don’t worry about time. No one has an expiration date on them.
The typical lifespan of someone with multiple myeloma varies based on several factors, including the stage at diagnosis, age, overall health, and response to treatment. Here are some key points from the knowledge base:
- Stage 1: Median survival is about 62 months
- Stage 2: Median survival is about 44 months.

Thank u so much!!!! My social worker doesn’t seem to be doing much or even know much
Dana, there should be several churches in your area with drive through food pantries. Please have the Social Worker at your clinic help you apply for disability and housing assistance. I don't think you need to have a lawyer. I didn't need one. But you will need copies of all your medical records to fax in to qualify. That's all a lawyer would do. You should also qualify for food vouchers (stamps). God bless you. Prayers for you and your family to stay safe and healthy. So sorry you are going through this🙏
Thank u so much!!! Can u recommend any food that will help
