It was discovered that I had thyroid cancer when I was diagnosed with MM (June 2023). I had my thyroid removed (in October 2023) 4 weeks before my Stem cell transplant (November 2023). Now it appears my thyroid cancer may have returned due to extremely elevated thyroid hormone levels in my bi-weekly blood tests. I have a PET scan next week.

Yes, my myeloma treatment continued while having treatment for the lung cancer.

Thank you for responding. Did the docs treat you for myeloma while they treated the lung nodules?

I developed 2 lung nodules that were cancerous and treated. The doctors tell me they were not related to the myeloma.
