Joint Pain During Chemo
Julie,
When I could not sleep from hip pain and pelvic pain, I decided it was because the Smoldering MM was breaking down my bones. So, I started taking supplements. 1400 mg Calcium with Magnesium, D3 & K2, Vitamin E complex & Vitamin A, and now I have added collagen. They all work together to build back the bone. I am staying ahead of it so far. I keep forgetting to take Strontium at night, which also builds back the bones. My hip pain started in 2020. I’m doing well now. If I miss a day, I hurt.

Thank you. It feels like arthritis. I can't sleep because it's so painful. I will be calling my Dr. tomorrow.
Julie,
I’m taking Cod Liver oil and Curcumin to help with my joints. I’m not on treatment, but have osteoarthritis.

Joint pain can occur during chemotherapy for myeloma as a side effect. It may result from the drugs themselves or from inflammation caused by treatment. Managing this pain often involves medications, physical therapy, or palliative care. Always report joint pain to your doctor, as they can adjust your treatment or recommend Show Full Answer
