Has Anyone Had Pain Worsen During Chemo?
I did not have pain prior to chemo. I am now having pain in my sides and back. It seems more muscular than bone. Like when I twist, turn, or bend. It also feels like my muscles in shoulders are frogging up. Iām staying hydrated. Anyone?
i had several different types of chemo so I couldnt tell which did what. I have musvle pain in my legs and back. I suggest telling your Doctor your issues, everybody reacts different on a lot of this stuff. When you prepare for stem cell transplant, you will get growth factor shots. These will cause pain in bones, Clariton helps but mne was bad enough to need something stronger. It is a jjourney for sure, but communcating with your Doctor and staying positive is the key. Good luck
Have you had your adrenals checked?

Induction Meds are extremely muscle wasting. Quite easy to have plenty of back pain due to very weak muscles. Plenty of PT exercises with stretching may help. Iām going to the gym daily. I do strength building (upper one day, lower the next) and stretching each day. Worked with a trainer for instructions. Iām four weeks with real improvement. Better stability on my feet, more limber, easier turning & twisting, and stronger. Though, still a long ways to go.
Are you getting any growth hormones? If yes, it can cause pain. I was informed that Claritin helped with that. Hope this helps.
