Eileen,
I have osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. I have hip pain, pelvic pain and leg pain. Curcumin helps. So does taking 1400 mg of calcium with Magnesium, D3 and K2:supplements. I also take a vitamin E complex supplement since deep vein thrombosis is common. If I lift grocery bags that are too heavy, I’m guaranteed to be in pain, so I only lift small amounts.

Before I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma I had a lot of pain in my leg . One day I couldn’t stand up . Here my femur in my right leg was broken. Are you in remission? Do you ever talk to your doctor about your pain? Hope you can get answers to get relief of your pain.

Nothing specific yet. I spoke with one of my orthopedic specialists who diagnosed arthritis ordered physical therapy which helps somewhat. Last checkup MM was still in remission.

I am only smoldering and I have been complaining about hip and leg pain for two years although I had signs of MGUS up to three years ago. PET scan a year ago showed nothing but the pain has continued. I have requested a CT scan on my legs and hips which request has been granted and I am just waiting for a date. If it isn't the SMM it has to be something else. That is why asked for CT rather than another PET scan in case it is not the SMM. What test have you had to see what is going on?
