Hi Pedro, the Healthtree Foundation website has learning modules on neuropathy. My doctor recommended b complex and alpha lipoic acid. They do help. They don't want you taking Alpha lipoic acid with Velcade.

Yes, many members of MyMyelomaTeam have shared their experiences and tips for managing peripheral neuropathy in their feet. Here are some suggestions:

- Foot Massager: Using a foot massager for 15 minutes every few days can help alleviate symptoms.
- Supportive Shoes: Orthopedic shoes, such as those from Orthofeet or San Antonio Shoes, can reduce pain and improve comfort.
- Physical Therapy and Exercise: Low-impact activities like swimming, biking, and stretching can help with balance and strength.
- Relaxation Techniques: Acupuncture, massage, meditation, yoga, and guided visualization have been beneficial for some.
- Over-the-Counter Medications: Tylenol and topical pain patches or creams like lidocaine can provide relief. Avoid NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or Naproxen due to the risk of kidney damage.
- Vitamins and Supplements: B vitamins, particularly B complex, have been reported to help with neuropathy symptoms.

Always consult with your doctor before starting any new treatments.

Pedro,
Alpha Lipoic Acid a supplement is very helpful. Nutritional yeast helps prevent it with all the B vitamins in it. DDR Prime helps also.
