I Am Due To Get A COVID Vaccine But Getting Over A Cold 2 Weeks Ago Any Thoughts? I Am Not Going To Get The RSV Or Flu At Least Now All At O
Hi Cynthia - For myself, especially knowing that my Natural Killer Cells are at 17%, I continue with never getting any Evusheld, Plaxavid, Covid, Flu, RSV, Pneumonia, etc etc Shots. I’ve had 3 Covid events - the first in Jan 2020, before they declared it was Covid, was a very nasty two week cold. The last two have been sniffles, with a very low grade few the first day.
I can tell from my Labs, my WFPBased Diet and Supplements that, at 71 in two months, I’m more resilient than I’ve been in years - very much like I use to be 10 to 15 years ago. It’s easy to tell when you’re feeling very well. Just finished 2.5 hours at TopGolf - outdoors, fresh air and pushing myself. My neuropathy stinging in my feet just disappears into the background and goes unnoticed.
I worked in the vaccine industry. I trust and get the vaccines my Dr. tells me to get. There is nothing alive in the vaccines that will hurt you.
I would wait for the cold symptoms to be gone. I just got my seasonal flu shot today. I put it off a couple of weeks because I also had a cold. I had my Covid shot early September. I had my RSV shot last year in September. My doctor has encouraged me to get all of the immunizations available, but I would consult you Physician to get his or her opinion.
I really do not know about vaccines anymore I had 2 doses when COVID first hit and now I have mm I am wary of vaccines I don't know what they are made from,so as I don't see many people I will take my chances.
It's probably okay to get your vaccine. I did not have any side effects from the Covid vaccine.
