What Is Some Of The Strangest Advice From Your Doc?

My doc told me today to never drink water from a place called Barto. It’s a town near me that has fresh spring water that comes out of a metal pipe. Having contaminated water issues apparently. Hoping it’s just a bug and not Revlimid’s revenge. Not my smartest move. Or worst.

Take Claritin for lower back pain and guess what it works!
I thought it was only for sinuses.

During my initial treatment of 4 chemo drug combo taking revlamide 28 mg’s velcade darzalex dexymethasone I noticed I had hard time breathing feet and legs swelled had leg cramps had to pee all night long heart beat sped up was very very fatigued I just began to feel anxiety called pharmacist for revlamide explained my symptoms felt like I was overloaded and asked if I should call ER since it was weekend nurse said to ask doctor to reduce mg’s of revlamide since I was on highest dose so Monday I asked doctor and he said no since I was stage 3 I had to stay on highest dose well I ended up only taking revlamide as I could tolerate it. Because I simply could not tolerate that high of a dose.

The strangest advice I got was, “If you keep asking questions, you’re going to hear what you don’t want to hear”. This was from a doctor, years ago, who kept telling me my blood tests were normal. My white blood cell count and neutrophils were abnormally low.
