Anyone That Has Had A SCT And Was Inpatient Able To Bring In Home CPAP?
I used my CPAP while hospitalized. Was told beforehand that it would need to be inspected before allowed, but no one seemed too concerned.
I left my CPAP at home because I had to go to Toronto for my SCT’s and didn’t want the hassle of trying to get it back if it disappeared, I didn’t have to many side effects except I slept a lot for the first few months.
He does too, but wasn’t sure during SCT with risk of infection. We have appointment Sept 3 to discuss transplant and will see what protocol the hospital follows.
I was always told to bring my CPAP when hospitalized.
I was told to bring mine. Good luck with your SCT.
