Will My Side Effects From Treatment Change After SCT?

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Robertsdale, AL

I had SCT in April. My side effects
from my initial treatment of DVRd were minimal. Now that I am 125 days post SCT, I am about to start my next line of treatment(not sure what it will be yet, my appt is tomorrow). Should I expect my side effects to be about the same or could it be worse?

After seeing my local oncologist a week ago, we started my maintenance therapy. It will consist of Darzalex (daratumumab) subcutaneous shot (shot in abdomen) every 4 weeks and Revlimid (lenalidomide) 10mg capsule everyday with no time off. So far no side effects. Hopefully this will keep me MRD (minimal residual disease) negative for a long long time. My next bone marrow biopsy will be March of next year and then yearly after that.
