Hi Ed I had this problem aswell after 10 weeks of induction I couldn’t take a proper full deep breath it was really scary.
I was on 40mg dex weekly and they halved it to 20 so I’m presuming they knew it was the dex causing the issue but it didn’t make much difference as at 10 weeks it was accumulative so it felt like the gift that kept on giving however I’m now 2.5 months off all medication and I’m pleased to say it’s sorted itself out and my breathing is now fine but to help with expanding my lung capacity and taking a full breath I do 15-20 minutes on a rowing machine daily but any cardio would do so good luck and it will pass and you will be able to breathe properly again.

Ed,
Don’t diagnose yourself. Let the doctor do that. There are lots of causes. Make an appointment asap. For me, it was my heart and lungs.
