Jacque - That’s very significant fatigue. What’s your Ig levels - due to your SCT, I expect they’re quite low. How’s your CBCs - I imagine you’re anemic. It would be helpful to have your Natural Killer Cells tested to see how well you can handle infections.

I’m in remission and take no MM Meds. I take 10mg Ritalin 3x daily. My neurologist told me that I can take it indefinitely without any concerns. It provides me with focus and energy throughout the day.

I’d suggest seeing a cardiologist and pulmonologist in addition to your Oncologist to get a full Labs work up, as soon as they can see you. If all checks out okay then look into Ritalin - it’s been very helpful for me. My monthly Labs are very good and my CBCs are completely normal.

Jacque,
Call your MM Specialist. Once you are clear there, see a Cardiologist and Pulmonologist. I had a heart condition and collapsed areas of my lungs, which I attributed to Smoldering MM. Don’t wait. I’m feeling much better now that I am taking a heart med.

I go in next month to my oncologist.
I only go every two years now. I have not had any sign of relapse for 17 years.
I have fibromyalgia ( which I probably got from having the treatment for MM) so I get similar symptoms with that. Its very confusing. When I get Costocronditis it makes me think MMthen it goes away. MM rib pain Dosnt go away.
Anyway. I just wanted to know if anyone else feels this fatigued and breathless even though your MM is gone. I pray for all that have not had positive outcomes. That you continue with treatment because sometimes it works!!!!

Jacque, I do get short of breath from my Pomalyst and Darzalex. Not as bad as you describe. Yours sounds more worrisome. Does your doctor know? Is it treatment related? Are you anemic? When have you had a workup?
