I live on a tropical island whr temps reach 35 deg Celsius in Summer & 25 deg in Winter. The summer sun dsnt actually bother me. Since my SCT, I hv however noticed that I tend to hv hot flushes and I sweat profusely in Summer and a bit in winter too whereas it has not bn the case before. I hv always bn drinking lots of water on account of my physical activities. I wdnt know if the heat actually affects MM patients.

MM is hard on the kidneys, so stay hydrated.

I used to work in 135F at work but after my SCTs I couldn’t handle the heat anymore and would have hot flashes when it was hot outside.

I cannot see how extreme heat helps our MM. I think the best thing to do is to drink a lot of water and to stay inside, until the temperatures drop - kind of like the reverse of winter time.

I haven’t heard of any studies about the heat but it kills me. When it’s real hot my legs swell and I get dehydrated real quick. Try not to stay in the heat for to long and stay well hydrated.
