Hi Sally,
Thank you for the uplifting message. I started exercising when I quit smoking in about 1980. I have always been overweight. It's a daily battle. I still exercise for pain relief and stiffness. I cannot walk very far anymore. I do a little every day. My hair is back finally, but will never be long again like it was. It sounds like you are keeping busy. So far my heart is doing ok. I feel guilty for not doing

more around the house. My husband is such a big help. He just turned 80 last March. Keep up the good work.
Good wishes, Barb J Borer

Hi Barb, the SCT does cause fatigue, but so does Revlimid. I hated hearing about exercise to combat fatigue, too, but it does help. At first, I could barely make down the driveway to get the mail, but be persistent and keep going. Just do as much as you can each day, and gradually you will see progress. Above all, rest when you need to. I was always a go-getter, it was hard to admit I needed to slow down. I embraced my new normal and have finally found my stride. Take care of you!

Hi Barb, what dose is your maintenance meds? I’m on 10 mg Revlimid and I’m super exhausted too. I’m going to ask my oncologist to lower my dose or give me a month off. I don’t think we should be this tired and I think the meds are causing it. Hope you find a way to get some energy. I’ve been busy all morning and now have to go rest before I fall down… I feel that tired. Have a good weekend!

It's our new normal. I hate when people tell me that. Barbara, exercise is the only thing that helps my fatigue. I like walking, so that's what I do. I also have to take frequent rest periods.
