Pain And Lack Of Sleep...
I have not talked with my primary care provider or my oncologist about the use of CBD products, but I am willing to try it out...I have been taking (dex ) for 9 months and have even started taking less doses,,,but I still struggled with getting proper rest 3 times a month,,,if the addition of CBD will help I'll surely try it !
I am fortunate to only experience neuropathy and itching. My neuropathy is now limited to numbness during a long treatment period of acupuncture, and itching is addressed with benedryl. I have tried Gabapentin, CBD, and CBD/THC blends which did not work for me. Sometimes Tylenol took a slight edge off neuropathy in my feet and hands, moisturizer on my hands and feet. I used kinesiology tape on my feet for the longest while effectively too. I generally avoid additional medications is just a personal preference.

What dosage of Dex are you taking? The new guidelines are reducing the amount significantly.
I have not tried CBD for pain and sleep problems but everything I have read seems to indicate that it could work for you, it does for some people depending on the cause of the pain. My doctor recently prescribed gabapentin to address my nerve issues (which do make it very difficult to sleep). I hope it works. Check with your doctors to see if it could help you.
Corticosteroids are notorious for disrupting sleep. When I changed doctors my new doctor took me off 'dex' and prescribed methylprednisolone (a/k/a Medrol) instead. Medrol has not affected my sleep nearly as much as dex.
Also, I understand that getting dex via infusion does not affect sleep as much as taking dex orally. Something to talk over with your oncologist.
