I might be able to shed a little light on another treatment. A spinal cord stimulator. I had one put in back in 2004, which had to be removed because of pre-surgery imaging issues. It worked fantastic and I had a very physical job as a chemical operator. Well now, I have severe neuropathy and severe restless legs and foot drop. Throw the pain in and it’s a perfect formula for a miserable life. So I decided to get another stimulator and have already had the week long trial. It was a huge success! They put the leads going to my left side because it was the worst of my two legs. It provided a perfect comparison. Every night, the restless leg would kick in on my right leg. I mean it kicked like a mule. Plus the neuropathy drove me crazy in that right leg. I didn’t take any medication during that time. So my left leg was great and my right leg was miserable.
So, I’m scheduled for my permanent stimulator surgery March 21. I hope this helps and good luck to you

I have been dealing with it for 10 years. I haven't found anything that relieves it. My physical therapist told me to get a spiky ball and rub my feet on it. She said it might wake up some nerves. Just got ball, so haven't done it yet.reply
