Drugs treatment plan was Revlimid, Velcade, Dexaethasone. I stopped the Velcade once numbness and tingling got worse. I continue now with lower dose of Revlimid and Dexaethasone. The pain in my feet has gotten worse and have tried natural remedies but no relief. Dr prescribed Gabapentin and have taken now for a few weeks but was told it takes longer before I would notice if it’s helping. Had some bad side effects so now taking Lyrica which seems to be helping to take the burning sensation away… read more

I have neuropathy in my hands and feet as well as in my legs. Just started experiencing some pain in my right foot but nothing major. Mine is mainly numbness which causes issues with my balance. Just went to a new Dr who deals with just Myeloma and he suggested B-Complex, Alpha Lapoic Acid, walking and a small grass mat to put in front of your chair to stimulate the nerves. I know, sounds funny but at this point I’m willing to try anything.

I take B-12 vitamin, Gabapentin didn’t do much, I was like a zombie.
My cancer is coming back, so now I taking Pomalyst and Dexa, but the I don’t do to good with Dexamethasone, my heart rate is very high, I get drawn blood every 2 weeks and see the Nurse or Doctor every 2 weeks, but I have been in this medication for only 21 days, I think I have to wait at least 4 months, to see if they are working or not.
I try to stay positive, and will see the outcome, but I did lasted 9 years in complete remission.❤️

I have tried gabapentin, lyrica (both made more very very sleepy) and cymbalta (did not work). Stretching, exercises and massage have given me the most relief but I am not trying something new. It is called New Wave. I go to the neuropathy center twice a week and have a treatment that helps to wake up the nerves. So far so good. Also, insurance is paying for it!

Gabapentin helps me. Also a friend of mine swears by rubbing magnesium into the sore muscles, especially after a shower. I does seem to help me. Get it on Amazon.
