No. You must take a break between induction therapy and stem cell collection. If anything you should feel better. Then you’ll get a shot of a drug to enhance stem cell harvesting such as Ziexstenzo. I had to shoot myself in the belly two to three days before harvesting and before the powerful Melphalan chemo.

Your induction regimen was the best for response and effectiveness so do not panic if you don’t reach remission now. You should by the 100 day recovery period after the ASCT.

I’m sure you are well prepared for the upcoming procedure but we are all here to support and guide you with our individual experiences.

- Mild dizziness
- Tingling in the hands or feet
- Chills
- Shaking
