Does Anyone Have MGUS And Neuropathy?
Yes, I have extremely painful burning neurophathy primarily in both hands, my feet and ankles more numbness than pain. At times the left leg swells and hurts. The pain/steroids prescribed for me are Gabapentin, Methadone, Dexamethasone, Morphine and Tylenol. I've reached the tolerable limit on these for pain management. Not 100% but it eases daily life a bit.
I have tingling, primarily in feet, sometimes in hands. My toes are sometimes sore. I feel like taking an Advil or Tylenol or even Low Dose Aspirin would resolve but have been avoiding doing so. I'm thinking I should just take something occasionally, not sure. I should point out that my dermatologist said I had perniosis previously which usually resolves itself as the weather warms (or I go to FL). Not sure if this is that or is a newer thing. It seems more noticeable or is it just the power if suggestion.
Yes, many individuals with Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance (MGUS) experience peripheral neuropathy. This condition is a common symptom in clonal plasma disorders like MGUS, where individuals might feel pain, numbness, weakness, or a pins-and-needles sensation in various parts of their body.
