I found the Gabapentin did make me tired so I would take it when I went to bed. I would take 900 MG and it did help with the numbing.

I tried Gabepentin and many use it for peripheral neuropathy. I found it made me tired and I limited the dose to avoid published side effects. I use kinesiology tape on my feet and moisturizing lotion on my hands . Visit my page to view video posting for kinesiology tape application. I have taped my feet for a couple years now when the pain is high. I hope this helps.

Chuck thanks for the heads up on the Amatriptalin! Quick question, do you notice any side effects from taking that? Best Regards, Dave

Hi Dave. I was taking gabapentin for several years. I was taking 300 MG 3 times a day. The pain and burning went away and sometimes it would help with the numbing that I was suffering from. I ended up having to stop taking do to ESRD so now I take Amatriptalin and it works pretty good.
